While Balance Mental Health Group provides the leading PHP/Day Treatment on the North Shore, we believe in a “Continuum of Care.” We often refer patients to or from these specialized outpatient providers.

  • Eliot Community Human Services (Danvers): Behavioral health clinics at 10 Harbor St. (978) 619-6850.
  • Northeast Health Services (Danvers/Beverly): Behavioral health urgent care and routine appointments.

  • Recovery Centers of America (Danvers): Intensive substance use disorder (SUD) treatment.

Why Geographic Proximity Matters in Recovery

For residents of Essex County, traveling to Boston for intensive treatment is often a barrier to success. Traffic on Route 128 or the Tobin Bridge can turn a 5-hour treatment day into an 8-hour ordeal.

By choosing a facility like Balance Mental Health Group—located centrally at 100 Corporate Place in Peabody—patients from Lynnfield, Middleton, and Swampscott can access world-class clinical care while staying close to their local support systems, pharmacies, and families.

Travel Times to Balance Mental Health Group:

  • From Danvers Square: 8 minutes
  • From Salem (North Station area): 12 minutes
  • From Beverly (Cummings Center): 15 minutes
  • From Lynnfield (MarketStreet): 10 minutes

Regional Mental Health Statistics (2026)

The North Shore is currently experiencing a 15% higher demand for intensive outpatient services than the state average. This is attributed to the “accessibility gap” where localized providers are scarce despite a high concentration of residents in the 25-45 age demographic.

At Balance, we are proud to be the “anchor” for mental health stability in this region.

How to Use This Directory
